This is a way for the school to send out important information by phone to parents. Also, the 6th grade students record their homework for the day, and the recording will be called to the phone listed with schoolannouncement.com.
Parent Portal –
This is a resource for parents and students to check each of their classes grades through grade speed. Parent Portal will let one check their averages for each class as well as each individual completed or incomplete assignments. If you have not set up Parent Portal, you may call the administration office to acquire access to your child’s grades online.
Teacher Conference –
Email or call the Junior High office to set up a conference with your student’s teacher. To find out a teacher’s email address, go to the Stockdale webpage to the Jr. High Page, then click on contact us on the top left hand side of the page. Also, you may call the Jr. High office at 830-996-3153 to set up an appointment with your child’s teachers.
Study Island –
Study Island is an online resource for students to use with reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies for each TAKS tested area. To access Study Island, students should visit www.studyisland.com. Once at the website, the students will enter their username and password. Each student was assigned a specific username and password.
Online Textbook –
Most textbooks have online access for extra help, the book, and/or quizzes. If the book has an online resource, it will usually have the website on the back of the book.
